A lot of elite female ele armor, esp. FoW. Expensive but ugly ^^ Same thing with some of the elite warrior armor...chaos gloves are ok w/ me some of them actually fit...same as dragon gauntlets as long as you dont mindlessly stick them on a monk...

Female Monk fow chest piece, woven skirt, chaos gloves, and woven sandals dyed black. But it's more original than black Monk fow and chaos gloves. Slightly.

Yeh FoW is nearly always worn, chaos axes and fellblades are nearly always the weapons used with them(if it is a warrior).

I am fed up of all this barrating of Dragon Gauntlets. Fair do's these gloves look hideous on most armors as they just overpower what could have been a nice outfit, but there is one armor they look great on and that is the necro scar pattern armor, observe

Nope, still ugly.
Oh and Elemental Swords look like plastic lightsabers.
Oh tonics i find overrated. Except the spider one, i really love it. <3
Future tonic idea: Yoda! Gogo.

Well we will have to beg to differ on the gauntlet issue, but the elemental swords I have to totally agree with you, hideous things

Dervish Primeval armor:extremely overrated. Its what I see on mostly all Dervishes...then again I own a set too, but I also have all the EoTN armor too and wear my Monument most of the time.
Any EoTN special gloves: ugly as heck, but there are times people can put together a nice armor set with the gloves, but the dragon gloves are the only gloves I have never seen go well with any armor..as of yet.

Prime\/al is the nicest armor besides monument and FoW imo, so people without EOTN or lotsa money and good taste will get it
FoW armor died black looks, although pretty common, awesome. As does prime\/al. Ha\/ent really seen the dies on monument but that one looks sweet e\/en without dye.
Btw, my der\/ hasn't finished NF yet so I'm still running around in sunspear armor
Btw2: my \/ doesn't work, sorry for that

I have a plan: everybody get naked and sit. That should make nothing overrated!
As there are overrated items in real life (iPhone anyone?), there are also in GW. It's all about how much an item is cool and how much does it cost.
Fow armor: woa that guy is rich.
Chaos gloves: woa that guy is richer than the fow guy.
Other items like gloves/bandana/blindfold/dread mask: woa that guy must be even richer than the other 2 guys above since he can spend money on such items.
Old Armor: hey look that guy wears an old armor. He surely does have some kind of taste!
That's how it works. It's also all about stereotypes!
In my case, I love fow armor on warrior since the idea of warrior I got is an armored guy (it has got spikes as well, geez! xD ) that kicks anyone's ass.
And so on. Ok I've finished.
After saying all this...overrated skin? Eternal blade. I'ts so ugly....

What? Is it wrong to love my Primeval Armor on my female Warrior? It's just about the only armor I regularly use on my character, PLUS it has all my best runes. ~_~
As for the topic... I'd say that some of the 'For Fun' titles are overrated when maxed out (Drunkard, Sweet Tooth) since they only show just how much free time you have on your hands.
Though as a casual player, the Kind of A Big Deal track ain't nothing to sniff at, since it took me the better part of three years just to get to the LOWEST rung... Mind, I only play 30 minutes to an hour on weekends...
As to Armor, well, anything from the Fissure of Woe set, plus the Eye of the North headpieces and gloves. Seriously? Bandanas? Sunglasses? That is just so wrong...

For me it's simply buying something nice and then dyeing it black!
(Gloom Shields, Voltaic Spears, etc.)
It usually has the effect of killing the items texture making it a uniform black! ... but as long as they like it themselves - meh!
